Option 1 Stained logo

Best when
You want a premium, minimal look that matches concrete character — and a logo that still reads after seasons outside.
What it looks like
Your mark sits in the board recessed or stained so it reads as part of the concrete. Monochrome or tonal. Quiet, architectural, permanent.
Durability
Integrated with the surface. Built for outdoor life with the same sealed finish as the board. No peel from a separate print layer.
Finish & sealer stained boards
Wood sets usually get spar urethane or household polyurethane — finishes built for wood, not concrete. Those films can yellow, crack, peel, or play inconsistently outdoors, and they aren’t made for bag abrasion on a mineral surface. We dont use that route.
Your boards get the same sealer I use on my own concrete countertops: a commercial-grade 2K hybrid water-based polyurethane built for concrete and GFRC. It’s not cheap, and it’s not fast to apply — but it’s UV-stable, tough against scratches and stains, with minimal color change, so the board stays looking like real concrete and plays with a natural matte surface.

Brand colors matter, or the mark needs to pop for guests and photos.
How we apply it
We use UV-stable DTF (direct-to-film) transfers — UV-cured inks for outdoor colorfastness and full-color detail, applied to the sealed concrete surface.
Durability
Built for sun and outdoor play UV-stable so the mark holds up outdoors. The board still gets our commercial concrete sealer system; we’ll confirm art and finish with your quote. Ask us if the logo has very fine lines or large solid color fields.
Finish & sealer color logos
Color logos and decals get a hard clear build coat first a commercial-grade 2K polyaspartic to add film thickness over the graphics and lock them down. Then we top that with a matte polyurethane so the logos match the board: same matte look, tougher build where the artwork lives, and a finish that works with the rest of the surface instead of staying glossy.
It’s an expensive and painstaking process, but our goal is to provide you with the absolute best.
